… To Andy Dickinson for the link-backs this week to my article “Why branding your product is so important in the online world“.

He’s linked to it twice in his reviews of how the UK tabloids use video on their sites (Daily Mirror and Daily Mail).

So thanks Andy, nice to know that some one’s actually reading some of the junk I write, and thanks to anyone else, who may have stumbled upon the article and read it too.



  1. Not a problem. Thanks for the tip-off about the Mirror.

    You do wonder just how much of this is going on. Maybe the Beeb need to look at the MSNBC.com approach and make it easier to embedd rather than have second rate off-air stuff floating around.


  2. That’s the only example I’ve seen so far – but to be honest I haven’t been paying that much attention, until then. And yes the Beeb does need to get its act together, making stuff much easier to embed and share, but that’s a whole other can of worms …
